#PublicLandsProud contest
During the month of September, post a picture or short video on Instagram featuring America’s public lands, use the hashtag #publiclandsproud, tag @troutunlimited, and include a caption telling us why you love public lands. The photo-story with the most "likes" will get to choose between a guided day of fishing with a Trout Unlimited Business Partner or an 8’6” 5-weight Orvis Access fly rod and reel outfit - winner's choice! We'll also throw in a Fishpond Thunderhead Sling and RepYourWater Embrace-A-Stream hat. 640 million acres of public land belongs to all Americans, so get out and enjoy your birthright, share your photos, tell your stories and help to keep it public.

OFFICIAL RULES
HOW TO ENTER: During the Entry Period, enter the Promotion by publicly posting an original photo or video (15 seconds or less) to Instagram. All entries must include the hashtag #PublicLandsProud, a caption describing why you love your public lands and “tag” @TroutUnlimited on Instagram. Limit fifty (50) entries per person during the Entry Period.
ENTRY PERIOD: all submissions must be made between September 1st and September 30th, 2017
ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion, is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry and are registered users of Instagram. No purchase or donation of any kind necessary to enter or win.
JUDGING AND VOTING: Trout Unlimited will vote on the images based on a “like” basis throughout the time of the contest. We will judge solely on the amount of likes an image receives throughout that time period and the winner will be determined by the most likes on an eligible entry.
PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize is available for the promotion. The Grand Prize includes: One (1) day of guided fishing with a guide or outfitter registered as a Trout Unlimited Business Partner. The selected guide or outfitter must offer one-day guided trips and the value must not exceed $550 US Dollars (maximum prize value). In lieu of a guided trip, the Grand Prize Winner may select the prize of a Orvis Access 5-weight 8'6" fly rod outfit; if the the Grand Prize Winner elects to receive the fly rod outfit instead of a guided trip, a guided trip will not be awarded. A Thunderhead Sling made by Fishpond Inc. will also be awarded to the Grand Prize Winner. No cash alternative or prize substitutions and the Grand Prize winner will not be compensated for any difference between the actual value of the selected trip and the maximum prize value. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be sold, bartered, or exchanged by winners.
